I’m On A Mission To Saves Lives Lost To Loneliness.
Why You Shouldn’t Work With Me
The Real Shermain…
I am Black, Accomplished, Gay, and Christian. I hold all four without apology.
I hid most of myself for most of my life. I was afraid that the people I loved the most would turn their backs on me, I'd be alone, and everything I'd worked for would be gone. It took me over 24 years to acknowledge my truth of being gay and understand that I am here for a reason and that telling my story will set me free and give others hope.
I sometimes wonder if God created me as a joke. He gave me this big heart to love others so that I could experience the depth of not belonging. All I ever wanted was to belong.
I was told I couldn't sit next to someone at church because of the color of my skin.
I am not a mistake, and God only creates perfection. Coming from poverty and feeling alone and lost, I chose to cultivate the courage to create a new destiny and identity for myself. I've gone from shame to being authentically me.
Now I serve and teach what I wish I had for myself growing up. I help accomplished Black Business Owners, Executives, and Leaders stop hiding, own who they are, and lead at their full capability.
I'm on a mission to save lives lost to loneliness. A version of loneliness is caused because people are uncomfortable in their own skin, with who they are.
When you own who you are, you become confident, unshakable, and magnetic.
What parts of who you are do you hold without apology? What parts are you hiding?
